About the Game
Colorblade is a fast-paced action-platformer developed during a 3-day GameJam. The core mechanic allows players to draw their own path through levels using a color blade, creating unique solutions to each challenge. The game features hand-crafted pixel art and an original soundtrack.

Development Process
Colorblade was developed in just 3 days during an intense GameJam. The theme was "Draw Your Own Path," which inspired the core mechanic of the game. Players use a color blade to literally draw paths through the levels, creating bridges, platforms, and barriers to navigate through challenging environments.
As the lead designer and pixel artist, I was responsible for creating all the visual assets, designing the game mechanics, and implementing the level design. The tight deadline pushed our team to focus on a core gameplay loop that was both fun and innovative.
The biggest challenge was implementing the drawing mechanic in a way that felt intuitive and responsive. We wanted players to feel like they had complete control over their path, while still maintaining a level of challenge that made the game engaging.
